Saint George’s night run regulations

NB! The exact start procedures will be specified 2 weeks before the event.
17:45-18:45 – On-spot registration and race material pick up

20:00 – Award ceremony
All who are fit to complete the distance (5km), can participate in the run/walk. Underage children need the permission of a parent or guardian. Both Nordic walking and regular walking are allowed on the distance.
Age groups on the run distance
Up to 20- year-olds (born in 2001 and later)
21-29-year-olds (born 1982-2000)
40-59-year-olds (born 1962-1981)
60+ year-olds (born 1961 and earlier)
Registration and fees
Pre-Registration in online on www.heategevusjooks.ee until the midnight of 20th April 2021. The issuing of race materials, on-spot registration and re-registration at the race center is from 17.45 to 18.45.
If the event is cancelled due to force majeure entry fees will not be refunded.
The registration fee of a SmileRun event is 15€ out of which 50% will go to charity. The series supports through the Tartu University Hospital Children’s Foundation supports the psychological counselling in Pepleri Ravikodu.

Confirmation of registration
The competitor is registered only after payment. The fee will be calculated by the time of payment, NOT by the time of registration.
By registering, the participant declares to be responsible for their own health and agrees that the organizer is not liable for health damage or loss/damage of personal property during the event.
Registration fee includes:
- marked and secured course
- race number
- electronic timing
- luggage service
- medical aid
- Catering at the finish
Points for each race
First 100 finishers of each stage will receive points according to the results list (1st place 100 points, 2nd place 99 points, 3rd place 98 points, etc)
All participants will receive at least 1 point, including finisher from 100th place onwards.
Best three women and men overall and of each age group will be awarded.
Participation in the award ceremony is mandatory in order to receive your price. In case the participant is unable to be at the award ceremony their coach or representative can accept their price. There is no collection of the prices afterwards.
To ensure social distancing participants are dividend into groups of 50 and each group has their own start period. The groups will have a 10 minute window to cross the start line. Time slots will be allocated for picking up your race materials as well.
SmileRun:ERM-i Jüriööjooks start is near the main entrance of Estonian National Museum. After the start the course goes along Muuseumi and Enni street toward the B parking lot of Estonian National Museum. The course continues to the old airport path towards Raadi Auto Center, along the sidewalks to Raadi manor park and back to the finishline near the main entrance of Estonia National museum.
Parking is at parking lot A at Estonian National Museum.
There is a timing chip secured to the back of the race number.
The course will be closed at 20.00.
The organizers will provide medical aid at the race center during the event.
Lost and found
All found items will be taken to info booth. After the race you can send your queries to firstname.lastname@example.org. Organizer will keep the lost and found items for 7 days after the race.
Race organizer has the right to change the race manual. All these changes will be announced on event’s website.
